Description

Splash at the community swimming pools in summer, coast down the nearby ski slopes at Ober Gatlinburg in winter, and soak in the mountain views with coffee every morning from your private deck  — just a few options to consider when you stay at Hummingbird Hideaway in Chalet Village Resort. This Gatlinburg cabin rental boasts 3 bedrooms + a cozy loft, 2 bathrooms, 1,800+ square feet of space for a large family or a group of friends (up to 10 guests total), a full kitchen and dining area, a nice living room, and 2 deck spaces.

When it’s cold outside, sip cocoa by the fireplaces or roast marshmallows around the firepit in the hangout shed. You can recline with a good book or entertainment on the big screen. And the coffee table is ideal for snacks and drinks. Hungry? Cook a homemade meal in the kitchen or fire up the grill for a cookout in the Smokies. There’s even an outdoor table where you can dine in nature, or set the indoor dining space for a meal together.

Wi-Fi at the cabin is free, so you can hop online to check emails or video chat whenever you like! There’s even more to do within the community, including swimming in summer, playing games (like pool, foosball, and air hockey) in the clubhouses, shooting hoops, swinging tennis rackets, lifting weights, and taking the kiddos to the play areas in Chalet Village.

After spending quality time together in the community, at family attractions, and at the cabin, enjoy a hot shower before slipping into your jammies. There’s a mix of 4 queen beds, 1 daybed, and 1 trundle to suit your group. The loft even has a round table for 4 and its own fireplace for added comfort and convenience during your stay in the Smokies.

Living Room
Step through the front door and onward to the wall of windows beckoning you for a glance at the Smoky Mountain peaks and towering trees just outside. Natural light pours into the open concept space and brings a touch of nature into your Gatlinburg cabin rental. Note the stone (gas) fireplace with a wood mantelpiece that adds additional cabin charm to the space. Floors are multi-tone, and the exposed log beams are lovely to behold.

For entertainment, switch on the big screen TV for a spell, kick back in the reclinable seating in the room, and sip cocktails. During fall and winter, you can light a crackling fire anytime. Keep snacks and drinks on the coffee table while everyone enjoys a good chat. And pull out your favorite book when everyone’s gone to bed. The living room is a great space to gather everyone together on your Gatlinburg vacation.

Kitchen
Ready to eat? Prep and cook yummy dishes in the fully equipped kitchen at Hummingbird Hideaway. Stainless steel appliances mesh with stone countertops and wooden cabinetry to make a well-designed space to whip up meals, snacks, and drinks. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, and more are provided for guest use as well.

Keep fresh ingredients in the fridge and treats in the freezer. Fry bacon and eggs on the stovetop and bake fresh biscuits in the oven. Pop popcorn or reheat leftovers from The Peddler Steakhouse in the microwave. Wash up in the double sink or simply load the handy dishwasher. There’s also bar seating for 4, where helpers and taste testers can sit while the chef in your group takes over the kitchen.

Dining Area
When the food is ready, set the wooden dining table with gorgeous pendant lighting overhead and windows framing the trees and mountains nearby. There’s enough seating for 8 guests, plus the living room sofas and kitchen bar are just steps away. Enjoy chatting about your day at Anakeesta or Ober Gatlinburg while munching on delicious food fresh from the kitchen. After your meal, clear the table to play board or card games together. The table can also be used as a temporary work or homeschool space.

Bedrooms
Ready for sweet dreams in the Smoky Mountains? This Gatlinburg cabin rental boasts 3 bedrooms and a loft with a mix of 4 queen-size beds, 1 daybed, and 1 trundle.
