1. Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway

Experience the magic of the mountains with your family at Anakeesta! Their new Rail Runner is the first of its kind in the United States. This unique coaster lets you ride lower to the ground and control your own speed as you zip downhill! For another thrill, take a ride on their dueling zipline! Race through the treetops right next to friends and family on one of three ziplines. If you’re feeling brave, you can even try one of the two challenge stations along the way! If you want to shop or grab a bite to eat, Firefly Village is the place to go. This collection of shops and restaurants also features scenic overlooks and a nearly 360 degree view of the mountains!

3. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies

Meet some adorable new friends at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies! You can pet one of the playful penguins in Penguin Encounter or reach out and touch the stingrays in Touch a Ray Bay! You can even purchase a one-of-a-kind painting done by one of the aquarium’s own penguins! A staff member can also take you on a behind-the-scenes tour. Learn about what it takes to keep all the animals happy and healthy as you see where the water is monitored, the food is made and more!

4. Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum

See over 20,000 sets of salt and pepper shakers from around the world at the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum! These unique shakers are from various eras and made from a range of materials. People travel from all across the United States to see this Gatlinburg attraction. They also have a map where visitors can place a pin to show where they are from. Admission is free for children ages 12 and under and only $3 for adults. That $3 admission can also go toward buying your own salt and pepper shakers in the gift shop!
