Description

Charming spaces, room for the family, classic mountain details, an A-frame style, games, modern amenities, access to community perks…The Raven’s Nest is a sleek yet cozy Gatlinburg chalet tucked among the trees of the Great Smoky Mountains. From fun pops of color paired with warm wood interiors to the conveniences of home and fun extras, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin for 6 is perfectly set up for a fun family vacation, a weekend with friends, and more. After you’ve spent the day exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, shopping and eating in downtown Gatlinburg, or playing at Ober Gatlinburg, you’ll appreciate the welcoming atmosphere at The Raven’s Nest. You can even see Gatlinburg’s Aerial Tramway running above as you unwind on your private deck!

You’ll stay entertained with a foosball table, wireless internet, and smart TVs. You’ll stay relaxed with a cozy wood-burning fireplace by the sectional, outdoor hot tub, DVD and CD players, and king and queen beds. And you’ll find comfort with a charcoal grill, community pool access, Keurig coffeemaker, and more.

Living Room
This lovely living room with wooded views features high ceilings, large windows, a beautiful stacked- stone (wood-burning) fireplace, and comfortable seating so you can unwind. Pile snacks on the coffee table, sip moonshine from a local moonshine distillery, and break out the board games provided in the cabin. The large smart flatscreen TV lets you log in to your own Netflix or other streaming account, so you can really settle in for a laid-back day.

Kitchen
Charming red cabinets pair with modern appliances to make mealtime in the cabin fun and easy. You’ll have an oven with glass stovetop, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer, along with a Keurig coffeemaker, blender, toaster, and plenty of utensils and dishes for in-cabin meals.

Dining Room
Along with the 4 breakfast bar stools in the kitchen, you’ll also have an industrial-style dining table for 6 nearby. The whole group can gather for mealtime beneath the track lighting above, and if friends are coming to visit, you’ll have space at the breakfast bar and the living room just steps away. Kids can watch cartoons while eating breakfast in the mornings, or you can have a holiday movie going while decorating Christmas cookies at the table! When it’s not being used for meals, the dining table is great for board games, card games, crafts with the kids, or catching up on work.

Bedrooms
Find 2 bedrooms on the entry level, complete with tree-studded views, unique décor, and a shared bathroom. One has a queen-size bed, while the other has a full-size bed. The king bed is on the second level, with its own bathroom and access to an open deck. Couples will love waking up in their own little retreat and stepping onto the deck with coffee for some fresh air in the mornings – or enjoy a glass of local wine before bed.

Rec Room
Along with the foosball table near the smart TV in the living room, The Raven’s Nest offers a fun rec loft! Kids will love this colorful space, complete with bright blue beanbag chairs, a TV with DVD library, some games and puzzles, and mini game tables – including air hockey and pool! It’s the perfect spot for kids to hang out while the adults enjoy some TV or chatting downstairs.

Outdoor Amenities
The outdoor spaces are some of the most-loved places at The Raven’s Nest! A fun chairlift bench sits on the deck, and you’ll have rocking chairs, more seating, a picnic table with the Aerial Tramway running above, a charcoal grill, and an outdoor hot tub for soothing tired muscles after long days. You can start mornings with a cup of coffee on the deck, enjoy laid-back afternoons with some ice-cold sweet tea, and end evenings with cocoa or moonshine with a view.

Local Fun
When you want to get out and explore, you’ll have a short drive to attractions, restaurants, and shops. The Raven’s Nest is close to Ober Gatlinburg and downtown – with mini golf, go karts, laser tag, art galleries, unique stores, old-fashioned candy, and so much more. No matter who’s on vacation with you – kids or adults, friends or family – you’ll find plenty to do in the area.

The property was very nice-clean and well organized. Location was perfect for the activities we planned. We all enjoyed the hot tub, fooseball table and amenities the cabin offered. I would recommend bringing your own towels and an extra blanket to use on the couch (fabric is leather and cold in the winter). Overall a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.
