With its location in the Chalet Village community of Gatlinburg, Stairway to Heaven offers access to community amenities. You can splash at 3 pools, play foosball and ping pong in the clubhouses, let the kids get out energy on the playgrounds, play tennis, and stroll along a paved walking trail. You’ll also be a short drive from dozens of area attractions, shops, and restaurants – including Ober Gatlinburg!
Mornings start with coffee in the rocking chairs on the deck while you listen to the sounds of nature and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Then spend days watching movies on the big screen TV in the living room, whipping up meals in your fully equipped kitchen, playing skee ball and ping pong, and grilling out on the charcoal grill. And the cabin is outfitted with the conveniences of home, including a DVD player, washer/dryer, and Wi-Fi!
Living Room
The living room of Stairway to Heaven is charming and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows with wooded and mountain views, leather sofas in front of a stone fireplace, a coffee table for drinks and snacks, and a big screen TV so you can kick back and unwind. On cool mountain nights, the wood- burning fireplace will keep you warm and cozy. See what’s happening in the area via the Wi-Fi, read by lamplight, or flip on the ceiling fan when it’s hot to keep cool.
Kitchen
An important part of vacation is feeding the group, and the fully equipped kitchen in Stairway to Heaven simplifies that. You’ll have an island for prepping meals, a stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, oven with stovetop, and coffeemaker to start mornings right. Make a hearty breakfast before a big hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, come back for a quick lunch between attractions and shows, or enjoy romantic dinner once the kids have gone to bed.
Dining Area
Open to the kitchen and living room, the dining area features 2 tables – one with seating for 2 and one with seating for 4. Sit down for meals together, set out snacks and drinks when you’re hanging out around the cabin, or use these tables to play board games and card games at night.
Rec Room
The rec room in Stairway to Heaven has plenty for kids and adults, with a big screen TV, cozy stone fireplace, a sofa and bench for seating, and a ping pong table next to the wall of windows. The cabin also has a skee ball game – which is a hit with everyone!
Bedrooms
After a long day, enjoy restful nights in the bedrooms of Stairway to Heaven. The entry level has one bedroom with 2 twin beds and a twin bunk. With its own TV, it’s great for all the kids or friends wanting to stay together. Another bedroom on the entry level has one king bedroom and one queen bedroom. The last bedroom, with a queen bed, is located on the lower level.
Outdoor Spaces
Get a breath of fresh air in the great outdoor spaces of Stairway to Heaven. Spread out across spacious decks on the entry and lower levels, where you’ll find an outdoor hot tub, covered spaces, rocking chairs, and a table where you can keep drinks or snacks. A cup of coffee outside is a great way to start the day, and a soak in the hot tub is the perfect way to end the night.
Other Amenities
Stairway to Heaven ensures you’ll feel at home while you’re away, with conveniences just like home. Bring your favorite movies for the DVD player, toss clothes and towels in the washer/dryer, stay connected with the Wi-Fi, toss burgers on the charcoal grill, and take advantage of great community amenities as well – including pools, tennis courts, and games.
