Description

Family stays and friend getaways are made cozy and memorable at Bonnie and Clyde — a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin rental for 6 near downtown Gatlinburg attractions and the wintry slopes of Ober. After playing in town or snowboarding and skiing, head back to this inviting retreat nestled in the Smoky Mountain trees. A Chalet Village property, you’ll have access to 3 communal clubhouses that each feature a summer pool, game tables, fitness equipment, and lit tennis courts. Not to mention, guests will appreciate all the in-cabin amenities offered here.

Step into the peaceful living room and relax on the plush futon, sit back and relax in a recliner with Blu-rays on the flatscreen TV, or fire up the gas fireplace to set the mountain mood. The dining area is spacious with a farm table, and the nearby kitchen is fully equipped to prep and serve meals at the cabin. Outdoors, appreciate the tranquil tree scenes from multiple decks with rocking chairs and a bubbly hot tub! When bedtime draws near, peel off into 2 bedrooms — each with king-size log beds and a flatscreen TV. There’s also a sleeper sofa, an indoor jetted tub, a washer/dryer, a charcoal grill, and free Wi-Fi, plus the driveway is paved.

Living Room
Welcoming and cozy, the living room at Bonnie and Clyde beckons guests to kick up their feet and unwind with log style furnishings, a stacked stone (gas) fireplace, an elevated ceiling, and views of the trees. Plop on the futon for a rest, relax in the recliners with a glass of wine and a nice chat with your bestie, and flip on the TV for a little entertainment after hiking in the national park. It’s also a great space to open a book and read by a crackling fire in fall and winter months. And there’s a Blu-ray player for movie nights!

Kitchen
Get ready for homemade meals and fresh snacks at the cabin in the fully equipped kitchen that has all the appliances, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and glasses needed to cook delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Store treats in the freezer and ingredients in the fridge, fry bacon and eggs on the stove, brew pots of coffee every morning and evening, fix movie theater butter popcorn in the microwave, and wash up in the stainless steel double sink. Better yet, let the dishwasher cleanup! One side of the kitchen has an open passthrough so you can check out the trees across the way, communicate with dinner guests, and pass treats to the kiddos hanging out at the breakfast bar.

Dining Area
Set the farm table in the dining area not far from the kitchen for memorable mealtimes together. The chairs and bench are cushioned for a more comfortable dining experience, and the windows allow natural light and tree-studded views to flood the space. After enjoying meals, clear the table for board or card games from home, crafts or coloring with the kids, or coffee and dessert!

Bedrooms
Feeling sleepy or just need a little alone time? Head to one of 2 king bedrooms with cabin style log furniture sets and flatscreen TVs. Enjoy entertainment in bed after taking a hot shower in one of 2 full bathrooms in the home. Or consider taking a relaxing spa bath in the loft area with scented candles, bath tea or salts, and your favorite music. It’s a great spot to unwind from the day’s activities in town and watch the trees sway away. There’s also a futon in the living room, so up to 6 guests may stay at this cabin in Gatlinburg.

Outdoor Spaces
Spending time outdoors at Bonnie and Clyde is a must — this is a cabin in Gatlinburg with a hot tub after all! Head to the paved driveway and fire up the charcoal grill for a nice cabin cookout with family and friends. Step onto the decks with your morning coffee and sit back to take in the peaceful tree scenes. Best of all, slip into your swimsuit anytime to hop in the private hot tub that has massaging jets you’ll appreciate on vacation!

Other Amenities
When you choose Bonnie and Clyde, you’ll have free access to the high speed Wi-Fi so you can stay connected with family and friends back home. There are also CD and VCR players so you can pump up the jams and watch classic home videos together. The washer and dryer set is handy to stay on top of vacation laundry so you don’t have to deal with it when you return home. And as a member of Chalet Village Resort, guests can visit 3 clubhouses that each feature seasonal pools, game tables (like foosball, pool, and shuffleboard), workout equipment, and lit tennis courts.

Local Fun
Bonnie and Clyde is a cabin near Ober Ski Resort, meaning the wintry slopes are nearby for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing! Downtown Gatlinburg is also close, so guests will be able to head into town with a short drive from the cabin to play miniature golf, brave haunted adventures, check out Anakeesta, shop all day, and try local cuisine easily.

Gatlin’s
A mini theme park in the middle of Gatlinburg, Gatlin’s features fun activities for all ages that include blacklight mini golf, escape games, laser tag, a ropes adventure course, bumper cars, and a laser maze!

The Village Shops
Enchanting visitors with a European style setting that boasts a central fountain, brick walkways, and unique architecture, The Village is a great place to peruse a little while and shop for nice souvenirs.

The Peddler Steakhouse
Near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this top quality steakhouse boasts indoor riverside dining so you can enjoy the flow of the water while enjoying a delicious steak dinner with wine and a scrumptious dessert.

Cabin was very nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was we could not get the hot tub to turn on. Contacted the company and they sent someone out to fix it. Thanks for a great trip away from home!!

Weekend Getaway!

Went away for a long weekend getaways as two couples. Chose this property due to location and the fact that there were two king beds and two bathrooms. We loved the more secluded area up on the mountain. So glad we chose this over a condo closer to town! The property was exactly as described and was perfect for what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again! Ski Mountain Pizza was our go-to place close by for amazing pizza and wings!
