With a convenient location in the Chalet Village resort, Cozy Bear 856 keeps you close to the area’s best restaurants, shops, and attractions. Easily pop into town to grab a stack of pancakes, go skiing or indoor ice skating at Ober Gatlinburg, start the day with coffee downtown, do some shopping at The Village, or stroll along the Parkway. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is nearby and offers miles of trails for outdoor fun, and the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community is the perfect place to meet local artisans and pick up local art pieces and gifts.

Cozy Bear 856 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so there is space to sleep up to 5 guests. It’s well-sized for a family or a few friends wanting to feel at home and have fun in the mountains. Bedding includes 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, and 1 twin, and each room includes creature comforts like bedside lamps, dressers for unpacking, a ceiling fan, and a flatscreen TV.

Begin mornings making breakfast in the cabin’s fully equipped kitchen. With an oven with stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer, it will be easy to make meals for the group here. Grab fresh ingredients at the Gatlinburg Farmers Market or just stop by the grocery store and fill up the cabin with your favorite snacks and drinks. Then sit down at the dining table for 6 for some quality time together.

Cozy up on the sofa or in the comfortable chairs by the fireplace as you read a book or chat with family and friends. Flip on the flatscreen TV here to watch some shows or to pop a movie in the DVD player. With Wi-Fi in the cabin as well, the living room is a nice place to just hang out and unwind.

Outside, sip coffee at the table under the umbrella, and get some sun in the chairs on the open deck as you watch the Ober Gatlinburg tram overhead. Climb into the bubbling outdoor hot tub for tired muscles and enjoy feeling tucked away among the trees at this charming cabin!

Cozy Bear 856 also has a washer/dryer for guests’ convenience, along with community pool access, a charcoal grill for cookouts, and a pool table for some fun!

Living Room
Large windows, a stone (gas) fireplace, comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV and DVD player…the living room in Cozy Bear 856 has all you need to unwind in the mountains. Curl up on the plush sofa, crack open a good book in the chairs – with your feet up – and stay warm by the fireplace on cool mountain nights. Sip a glass of wine as you watch a movie here, with popcorn made fresh in the full kitchen nearby.

The coffee table offers space to play card games or pile up snacks while you hang out. And while you relax, enjoy the beautiful tree-studded views through the many windows here! Enjoy year-round views, whether it’s snow-capped trees in the winter, changing leaves in the fall, or lush greenery in spring and summer!

Kitchen
While there are many great options for dining downtown, having a fully equipped kitchen in the cabin means you can save money on dining out and always prepare your favorite meals. Make holiday dinners with your family recipes, cook big breakfasts to help you fuel up before a hike, or use the space to pack up a picnic lunch.

Not into cooking? Use the space to store leftovers from downtown, keep that classic Gatlinburg fudge fresh, or just have snacks and drinks in the cabin. And with a dishwasher, you can easily clean up after cooking here!

Dining Area
The dining table is just off the fully equipped kitchen and is a nice spot for enjoying meals together. Easily grab second helpings with the kitchen just steps away or let the kids help set the table for a fancy dinner. Set up a buffet of snacks on days around the cabin or just set out pizza for dinner.

After meals are done, clear the table and make it your game night hub! Bring your favorite puzzles, board games, and card games to play or make holiday-themed crafts with the kids. It’s also a great spot for homeschooling or taking care of some work on a longer trip.

Workspace|Loft
Another good spot for getting some work done is the loft space. There is a desk tucked in the corner that has a nice desk chair, a desk lamp, and a nice view through the high windows. Bring along the kids’ weekend homework on a last-minute trip or take care of those last few emails.

Bedrooms
Each bedroom in Cozy Bear 856 is a welcoming space. One bedroom has a king-size bed and is painted with cool, calming hues.
