During the winter, the hiking trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park display hidden wonders, frozen icicles, waterfalls, and (sometimes) beautiful snow. Some of the best winter hiking trails include Alum Cave Trail, Charlies Bunion, Andrews Bald, and Rainbow Falls. At Alum Cave Trail, Charlies Bunion and Andrews Bald, you can see breathtaking views of snow covered mountain tops. Then, at Rainbow Falls, you can admire a beautifully frozen waterfall.

Every winter, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area offers incredible skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing.
