Chalet Village Properties has a non-refundable cancellation policy which includes early departures, for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and cannot make a refund.
Reservation protection is available for 7% of the cost of your reservation and will allow you to receive a full refund, less cost of the protection fee up to 30 days prior to arrival for 1 to 3 bedroom cabins and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 4 bedroom cabins and larger.
Once inside these time periods the reservation protection will allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the reservation protection is an optional charge Chalet Village Properties has a no refund / no reschedule policy without it.
Rescheduled stays must be made within 6 months and must be in the cabin that was originally booked.
The paid amount, less the protection fee, will be placed in an interest bearing escrow account and must be applied to a new rescheduled reservation which dates must fall within 6 months from the date of cancellation. Once the 6 month time frame has expired all monies paid will be forfeited.
In addition, please be sure to utilize the entire amount as any portion not used is non-refundable and will be lost.
Please note when booking your new stay you will again have the option to purchase the reservation protection and the amount will be based on the new reservation total.
Interest on the monies held in the escrow account will be deposited to the Chalet Village Properties account.
The non-refundable / non reschedule policy, without the reservation protection, is to help ensure that the owners of our cabins and condominiums do not unduly suffer potential loss of revenue, as each owner has a substantial investment in their property. In addition it helps Chalet Village Properties maximize our bookings to ensure the owners gain the most return on their investment and continue to make available premium properties and amenities to Chalet Village and our guests.
