First, enjoy the conveniences of a stay in the Chalet Village community. You’ll be minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, which means easy access to area restaurants, shops, and attractions. You’ll also have access to community pools and game tables in the clubhouses, plus playgrounds, walking trails, tennis courts, and more. But you’ll feel tucked away when you head back to Double Creek Cabin 1204 – named for the 2 peaceful creeks that run by it. You can relax on the sofa in front of the TV on the deck, soak away stress in the hot tub, enjoy Wi-Fi as you relax on the sofas by the fireplace in the living room, or whip up meals in the cabin’s fully equipped kitchen. 

Even bedrooms are their own retreats, with deck access, en-suite bathrooms, and flatscreen TVs. Outside, get some fresh air on the decks, stroll along the deck path to the cabin, and have cookouts with the gas grill here. Inside and out, Double Creek Cabin 1204 has what you need to enjoy your time in the Great Smoky Mountains. 

Living Room
Two plush sofas flank the fireplace, creating a cozy, warm space to unwind. Gather here with family and friends as you chat and snack, watch TV on the big screen, or just surf the web via the Wi-Fi. Pop movies in the DVD player for a fun night and easily make snacks in the kitchen nearby. Two rustic rocking chairs offer additional seating, and there are tabletop lamps for those who love to relax and read. On warm days, flip on the ceiling fan overhead to stay cool.

After you’ve spent the day strolling through Ripley’s Aquarium, skiing at Ober Gatlinburg, or playing arcade games downtown, come back to hang out and enjoy the peace of your mountain cabin. With an open floorplan, the cabin makes it easy for guests to spend time together – whether dining, cooking, or relaxing. 

Kitchen
Find all you need to make meals, snacks, and drinks in the fully equipped kitchen at Double Creek Cabin 1204. It features a double-door refrigerator with a bottom-drawer freezer, an oven with a stovetop, an island, a microwave, a dishwasher, small appliances, dishes and glassware, utensils, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. Make easy snacks, cook your favorite dishes, prepare a decadent holiday spread, or just use the space to reheat leftovers after meals downtown. 

Dining Area
Just off the kitchen is the dining area, furnished with a traditional wood table and log chairs. Sit down beneath the unique sled light fixture as you enjoy breakfast before a big hike, a simple lunch on a laid-back day, or a big holiday meal. With the kitchen nearby, it will be easy to grab second helpings during meals.

After mealtime, clear the table and break out your board games and card games from home. Have fun playing and hanging out together here as you grab snacks from the kitchen and laugh about the day’s adventures. It’s also a nice spot for puzzles on a rainy day, homeschooling, catching up on work, and more. 

Bedrooms
Break off to the bedrooms at night after a big day for that rest you’ve been seeking. Each bedroom has a king-size bed, and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping space. In all, you’ll find room to sleep up to 6 guests in Double Creek Cabin 1204. Enjoy a bath in the jetted tub or rinse off in the custom walk-in shower with a unique glass door. The upstairs bedroom has a private balcony, where you can enjoy creek views and peaceful mornings. There are also flatscreen TVs in the bedrooms, so guests can fall asleep watching shows or movies. 

Outdoor Spaces
Double Creek Cabin 1204 offers some lovely outdoor spaces for guests to unwind. When you’re not hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or taking a scenic drive through Cades Cove, spread out across the decks that boast beautiful views of the trees and streams. Make dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or toss something on the gas grill for a cookout. A firepit is the place to gather and chat at the end of the day, with the stars twinkling overhead. There is even a hot tub with special lighting, great for unwinding at the end of the day. 

Other Amenities
A stay in Chalet Village means access to some great amenities. Play games with the game tables in the clubhouses or swim in the community pools. Kids can play on the playground, and adults will appreciate playing around on the tennis courts. There are also nearby walking trails and fitness equipment, so you’ll have all you need at your fingertips!

While the cabin is tucked among the trees, it’s also close to downtown restaurants, shops, attractions, and events. You’ll enjoy the peace of the mountains and the convenience of a short drive – just 2.3 miles to the heart of it all.
